Anyone who downloads the TVBAnywhere+ app through Apple Store, Huawei App Gallery or Google Play store can easily access and use the app! Specifically, there are three different tiers to the services offered: Basic Zone, VOD Zone and Channel Zone.
The Basic Zone is complimentary with partial access to the video-on-demand TVB programmes. On the other hand, the VOD Zone and Channel Zone are paid services that offer complete access to the video-on-demand programmes and five TVB channels, respectively.
The TV access is reserved for premium account holders, where users can enjoy streaming TVB content concurrently on both their mobile/tablet and Android Smart TV. The TVBAnywhere+ app does so by utilising Chromecast – allowing you to control your viewing experience (including language choice for subtitles and audio) on the mobile while offering you an immersive experience by broadcasting on the big screen.
To stream your TVB programmes on your Smart TV, ensure that your mobile device/tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your TV. Then, open the app on your mobile/tablet, tap on the ‘Cast’ button at the top right corner and select the name of your Smart TV. Once connected, the ‘Cast’ button changes colour to indicate a successful connection – you’re all set for your next drama adventure!
Revel in over 20,000 hours of complimentary content here when you choose the Basic Zone option (non-contract) with TVBAnywhere+! We’re all about offering you that rich drama dosage – looking to uploading more HK TV series for your best experience. One thing to note is that the shows might be available for a limited period (subject to conditions and licenses).
If you wish to opt for a paid plan to catch up with the latest TV releases in Hong Kong or explore an even wider library from different TVB channels, feel free to check out our VOD Zone and Channel Zone premium options.
If you’re looking for some TVB drama recommendations, you can rely on the annual TVB Anniversary Awards to get you started! These award-winning dramas are chosen by both viewers and a professional voting committee – their titles are thus well-deserved.
Holding as high as six awards are the dramas ‘Heart of Greed (溏心風暴)’, ‘A Fist Within Four Walls (城寨英雄)’, ‘Moonlight Resonance (溏心風暴之家好月圓)’ and ‘Rosy Business (巾幗梟雄)’. This puts these HK shows as one of the must-watch dramas to date!
